(5) CHAPTER. Should it be said “Ramadãn” or “the month of Ramadan?” And whoever thinks that both are permissible.
And the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “Whoever observe Saum (fasts) in Ramadan.” And also said, “Do not observe Saum before Ramadan.**”
- Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah’s Messenger, peace be upon him, said, “When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.”
